We started with a strong pipe, designed to withstand pressure, but not heavy and cumbersome like some others. Our pipe maker is one of the worlds’ largest and most respected water reticulation system manufacturers. The concept of reticulation is to quickly reapply the correct termiticide volume. The expected life of the treatment is specified on the product label. The system is designed and approved for perimeter use, to keep the installation as efficient as possible.

The pipe has been designed for maximum performance by putting the emitters at 100mm spacings and with as few components as needed, there is a minimal reduction of pressure and maximum flow between the pump and the emitters.

The best performance of the system has been achieved with emitters at 100mm spacings and a maximum run length of 35 metres. The internal emitter valves ensure optimal performance even under harsh water conditions and their design includes a large deep and wide cross section which minimizes clogging resistance. A pipe with emitters was chosen, rather than a pipe with punched holes, to get consistently even distribution of liquid along each length of pipe.
